Mr. Marrs is an experienced trial lawyer and mediator who has completed more than 200 jury trials. Most of the firm's clients are referred from other lawyers who trust his expertise and judgment.
Over the years, Mr. Marrs has recovered millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients in extremely challenging and complex cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith and medical malpractice claims.
Since 1980, he has been in the private practice of law in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His emphasis is in all types of personal injury law and insurance bad faith, including medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, accidents and catastrophic injuries.
In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Marrs is an experienced mediator both in the public and private sector. He is a charter member of and still performs as, a federal adjunct settlement judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma and has done so for over 25 years.
Mr. Marrs is admitted to practice in all states and federal courts within the State of Oklahoma and is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Association of Justice.
