Richard David Marrs

Mr. Marrs is a 1973 graduate of the University of Oklahoma.  Upon graduation, Mr. Marrs obtained a B.A. degree, cum laude. He was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa national honorary society having graduated in the top ten percent (10%) of his class.  In 1976, Mr. Marrs graduated from the University of Oklahoma law school and obtained a J.D. degree.  

From 1976 to 1980, Mr. Marrs served as an assistant staff judge advocate in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany and served as a prosecutor in criminal cases involving United States Army service members.

Since 1980, Mr. Marrs has been in the private practice of law in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  His emphasis is in all types of personal injury law and insurance bad faith, including medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, accidents and catastrophic injuries.  

Mr. Marrs is a federal adjunct settlement judge for the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma.  He is admitted to practice in all stated and federal courts within the State of Oklahoma and he is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Association of Justice.
